If you had to describe Infinite Campus in one word, what would it be?

Last year we switched to Infinite Campus. We had a previous SIS for 20 years. We made the leap to Infinite Campus. And if I had one word to describe what that was like I would have to say...

I'm going to go on a limb, and it's going to be a technicality...Game-changing. That’s one word. Game hyphen changing. So game-changing is what Infinite Campus has been for us.

The migration process has been phenomenal. The all-in-one aspect. The one-stop-shop for our students, parents, staff, everything in one location. Easy to use. It has created so many efficiencies within our district.

If we had to do it all over again, we most certainly would.

What would you tell a school district considering Infinite Campus?

We did a full evaluation of several SISs that were well known. Infinite Campus was by far a leader, they offered so many solutions. Ease of use and a futuristic technology all in one.

So it wasn't like you were going and you were working with this vendor, and then we had to go out to this third-party site to have to add money to your lunch account. And then if you wanted to see Susie's report card, you would have to go to another site or wait for it to come in the mail. So we've now eliminated mailing a lot of our documents home.

Everything is in that Parent Portal that is very easy to use. The Parent Portal is much like their website. So it's so much easier for everyone to use.

Communication. Phenomenal. We send all of our mass communication for nonemergencies go through Infinite Campus. So it's worked out really well for us.

Our permission slips - we do not have permission slips that we send home now. Parents can just sign that right in Infinite Campus. We get the permission slip. We can run a report. Who's going? Who's paid for that?

Fees. No more teachers collecting fees. No more money getting lost. Having to be put in the safe. Somebody coming down to get that money out of the safe in the morning so that they can start collecting again in the morning.

It's been a total, like I said, game-changing experience.

What would you tell another school district about our sales process?

So right from the get go, we were assigned an amazing sales representative. She was top notch. We connected right away with her. She took care of us.

Our first request was like, can you find us some districts that are comparable in size, in Wisconsin, close to us, that we can come and go explore their sites?

So she had set up several locations. We went and demoed. She followed through. It was also suggested that we come down to the Wisconsin user group. Nicole made that happen for us.

We had a few things, snags that we ran into going through. All it ever was was a telephone call to Nicole, and she had it done. There's not one time I can honestly say that Nicole did not pick her phone up for us. We felt like we were her only customer and her top priority. We know she was busy. She had many accounts that she was working on, but she always made time for us and made us feel like we were the most important.

And I get that feeling from everybody here at Infinite Campus. It's not just a product. It's not software. It's an Infinite Campus family. And they want everybody to succeed. And it's not just about the dollar or selling the software. It's about the solution.
