Infinite Campus, Inc., and its affiliated entities (collectively “Infinite Campus”) respects your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. 

What does this Privacy Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy applies to the Infinite Campus websites, mobile apps, products, and services.  It does not pertain to Infinite Campus product or service offerings where a separate privacy policy exists for such product or service.

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our websites, apps, products, or services. By accessing or using this website, an app, or using a product or a service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of the website, product, or service after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

What information do we collect?

Infinite Campus does not collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) about you, or any students, unless you or the student’s education agency (“EA”) provides information to us, which is voluntary. When providing PII directly, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, address, phone number, job title, and other details to help assist in your experience with Infinite Campus and its apps.

As you navigate through and interact with our websites and apps, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the website; and
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, referring URL, operating system, and browser type.

The information we collect automatically is only statistical data and does not include PII. It helps us to improve our website and apps and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience size and usage patterns;
  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our website according to your individual interests;
  • Speed up your searches; and
  • Recognize you when you return to our website.

We collect information through numerous methods, which commonly include: signing up for an online demo or event, subscribing to a newsletter, re­sponding to a survey, automated methods, or filling out a contact form.

We may use your information we obtain to:

  • Allow you to use our products and services;
  • Provide better, personalized service in responding to your cus­tomer service requests;
  • Communicate with you regarding specific products and services;
  • Help improve our website;

We do not share or sell your data with any vendors or third parties for marketing or sale purposes.

  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Infinite Campus, Inc.’s assets, or as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding;
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information;
  • With your consent;
  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request; and
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Infinite Campus, Inc., our affiliated entities, our employees, customers, or others.

How do we protect visitor information?

All personal information you provide is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, any information you supply via forms on our site is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology.

Children Under the Age of 13 (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 unless an EA has provided authorization and consent for a student under age 13 to use our products or services. If an EA requests that students use our software (such as for the submission of homework), we collect, process, and retain such information solely to provide educational services to the EA and for the purposes set forth in our agreement with the EA. The EA has complete control over the data.  The EA may access the data, delete the data, or withdraw consent regarding the student’s information at any time. This section only applies to children under the age of 13 and supplements the other provisions of this privacy policy. 

If you would like to review, modify, or delete personal information of a student under the age of 13, please contact your EA directly.  If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a student under age 13 without proper consent, you may contact us at privacy@infinitecampus.com. 

Washington My Health My Data Act (WMHMDA)

Personal information collected by your EA is governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and is not subject to the Washington My Health My Data Act (WMHMDA).  We do not collect any consumer health data which is subject to WMHMDA.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow it) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember cer­tain information. 

We use cookies to:

  1. Understand a user’s preferences and the types of information about our products and services of interest.
  2. Compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services, such as Google Analytics, that track this information on our behalf.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser’s settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookie preferences.
