Infinite Campus Exceeds One Million Students in Georgia
February 9, 2016 – Blaine, Minn. – When Towns County School District chose Infinite Campus for its student information system (SIS), it joined more than 100 other Georgia districts using Campus and received the honor of serving the millionth Infinite Campus student in the state. Nationally, Infinite Campus supports more than 7.5 million students across 45 states, making Infinite Campus the most trusted name in student information.
Dr. Darren Berrong, Towns County Superintendent and Brock Wilson, K-12 Solutions Group (an Infinite Campus Channel Partner based in Commerce, Georgia) awarded a commemorative Campus sweatshirt and iPad to senior student Savanah Dyer, to celebrate her designation as the one millionth Infinite Campus student in Georgia.
Towns County had used PowerSchool for their SIS for many years. However, since Infinite Campus was used throughout Georgia, they wanted to see what Infinite Campus could offer. After seeing the quality of a fully integrated product and understanding the local support they would receive, Infinite Campus was the best choice for Towns County.
Towns County selected Infinite Campus because of its stellar reputation throughout the state of Georgia,” said Berrong. “For example, in the short amount of time we’ve been on Campus, we find the portal communication tool for parents, students and teachers far exceeds our expectations.”
Trena Stroud, Towns County SIS Coordinator, added that the ability for students and parents to track grades and attendance on the Campus Mobile Portal from their phone is really helpful. “Campus Portal, with easy access on their mobile devices, gives our users real-time insight to assignments, grades, schedules and more. This level of communication helps teachers and students to be proactive in managing learning success.”
The majority of districts in Georgia are now Campus customers. “We are pleased with our consistent growth in Georgia and celebrate our one millionth student in the state,” says Charlie Kratsch, Infinite Campus Founder and CEO. “Our corporate vision, innovative products and customer service will continue to provide districts, like Towns County, with the best single solution on the market today.”
Towns County also benefits from a variety of local and online support options. “The customer support we get from K-12 Solutions Group is exceptional and it’s helpful they are based in Georgia, with a clear understanding of our unique requirements,” said Stroud. “This has significantly eased the transition from our legacy system to Campus. In addition, I love the free access to support videos, documentation and user forums with just one click to the Campus Community.”
Infinite Campus has more than 400 employees at the National Headquarters in Blaine, Minn. with 200 designated software developers providing monthly product enhancements at no additional cost. This ensures that Towns County will continue to have a current product that meets their needs today and in the future.
