Campbell County Schools, Virginia, Selects Infinite Campus

Feb. 19, 2013 – Blaine, Minn. – Campbell County Schools, serving more than 8,300 students in Rustburg, Va., selected Infinite Campus as its student information system (SIS) to minimize workload for district staff and maximize data available for informed decision-making. As the largest American-owned SIS and a Virginia preferred vendor, Infinite Campus is the best solution to meet their needs.

Campbell County Schools cited these criteria for selecting an SIS.

  • Comprehensive and easy-to-use data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Useful and user-friendly interface for parents and students so they can easily interact with teachers and staff.
  • Reliable state and federal reporting to reduce staff time and effort.
  • Fully integrated products to reduce data entry time.
  • Efficient data management solution for teachers, so they can focus on instruction.
  • Customizable applications to meet their district’s unique needs.

“Infinite Campus met these criteria and is the best SIS to help us achieve our goals,” says Matt Carroll, Campbell County Public Schools Database Administrator.

“After a thorough review process that involved stakeholders from all areas of the district, we are pleased that Campbell County Schools selected Infinite Campus, and we welcome them to our growing family of customers in Virginia,” says Michael Palmer, Infinite Campus Regional Sales Manager. “Campbell County Schools saw that the integrated functionality of Infinite Campus will save them time and money by eliminating third-party systems, while improving staff efficiency and increasing communication with parents and students.”

The fully-integrated, Web-based functionality of Infinite Campus will streamline their district’s processes. “Infinite Campus has one, centralized system that will lower our overall software costs,” says Carroll. “The ability to offer our stakeholders all the information they need from a single source in real time is crucial.”

Campbell County Public Schools joins the growing number of Infinite Campus districts in Virginia. “We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from other districts in our area already using Infinite Campus,” continues Carroll. “The level of support Campus provides to them is reassuring. We know we made the right decision.”

Campbell County Schools plans to go live August 1, 2013.
