Welcome to the new Campus Blog which is part of the newly designed Infinite Campus website. To figure out what this blog is, we first had to figure out what it isn’t. So we had to ask ourselves a few questions…
Is the point of our blog to foster a lively debate amongst Campus customers? Nope, we already have a place for that with our Campus Community (which all you Campus users should really check out if you haven’t already). Is it a place for users to get their questions answered? Definitely no. While Marketing can do many great things, you probably don’t want us troubleshooting your system — we have professionals to help you with that. Maybe the blog would be a place for breaking company news (because we really do have some big stuff going on)? Nah, we have a pretty slick news site that brings you all the latest and greatest without all the fluff. Perhaps we could write up some customer stories to share with you? We’ve got that covered too (here and here).
So what is the purpose of this blog? Simply put, this blog exists because Infinite Campus employs a bunch of smart, interesting people and we’d like to bring some of their knowledge to you — not just on all things Infinite Campus but on a wide spectrum of education and technology topics. Stuff you might read because you want to, not because you have to.
So that’s it. This blog will be a place to share interesting things that sit at the intersection of education and technology. Sometimes it will be serious, sometimes funny (no promises) but we’ll always try and make it interesting. Your time is valuable and if you choose to spend some of it here, we will make it worth your while.
