Infinite Campus Usability Testing

What is usability testing?

Usability testing helps Infinite Campus make software that's easier for you to use. We need real school professionals to help us and, because each role (ex., teacher, curriculum director, principal) may use a different set of Campus tools, the test signups are organized by role.

How does usability testing work?
After you have been scheduled for testing, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to a web-based testing platform. You will need a computer with an internet connection to participate. At the time of the appointment:

• You will click on the link to join the meeting and connect to the audio;
• The moderator will greet you and share his or her screen;
• After a brief introduction, the moderator will transfer control of his or her screen and ask you to perform specific tasks (For example, login and change the background color);
• You will be asked to tell us what you are thinking as you complete each task;
• The moderator and a few software developers will observe and might have a few questions about your experience after the tasks are completed.

That’s it! The developers will use this feedback to improve our software and make sure it’s user friendly.

Sorry, all the time slots are full, or we're not doing testing during that time. Please check back later.

What do I need to participate?
You must have a computer or laptop with an internet connection. You will need a quiet place for the testing session because you’ll be listening to instructions and telling us what you’re thinking.

How long will the usability testing take?
About 30-45 minutes. 

What if I've never used Infinite Campus before?
That's okay! The only requirement is that you're a K-12 teacher.
