Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District Selects Campus
HAUPPAUGE, NY (May, 2012) - Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. ("Custom"), the Northeast Channel Partner for Infinite Campus, announces that Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District, which serves 7,900 students within the town of Tonawanda, has selected Infinite Campus as its student information system (SIS). Infinite Campus was selected as it was the only system to meet all key requirements identified by the district and the only SIS to be considered a top-tier solution four years in a row by market analysts.
A few top priorities for Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District were:
- A solution with complete mobile access, allowing all constituents access to information anytime, anywhere, on any device.
- An inventive and market place leader in student information systems.
- An integrated data analysis interface to help the district identify patterns as part of their new “Early Warning System.”
“The selection process was intense. We had call-backs for vendor presentations and visited districts to see various Student Information Systems in action.
It was important for us to choose a system which is intuitive to use by staff, accessible by parents, has ease of integration with other district systems, and is visionary for our future needs,"
said Janet Gillmeister, Assistant Superintendent for the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District.
Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District implementation, conversion, training and ongoing support will be handled by Custom Computer Specialists' dedicated Infinite Campus team.
"Custom is pleased to have been chosen to partner with the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District on this critical project," said Alan Lacher, Custom's Chief Operating Officer. "Our expertise in enterprise systems integration and K12 operations will ensure a smooth transition and provide Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District with unsurpassed product and service quality."
The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District plans to go live with Infinite Campus in August 2012.
