Tupper Lake Central School District Adopts Infinite Campus SIS

November 28, 2011 - Hauppauge, NY - Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. (Custom), the Northeast Channel Partner for Infinite Campus, announces that Tupper Lake Central School District is the most recent New York school district to implement Infinite Campus as its student information system (SIS).

Seth McGowen, Superintendent of Tupper Lake, explains “We explored about twelve SIS products. No other program came close to the ease-of-use, reporting capabilities and power of Infinite Campus. Also, the data conversion and implementation processes used by Custom provided a smooth transition from our legacy system.”

Tupper Lake decided that data quality and accessibility was a clear advantage offered by Infinite Campus. McGowen explained.

Data has only become more and more important to districts as they launch RTI programs and participate in the Race to the Top initiatives. Without a good way to look at ‘data in motion,’ we are only able to see snapshots. The evaluation of student performance, program success and teacher effectiveness can only be measured over time.
