Transactional data can be extracted at any time and used to populate the system’s data warehouse for:
Federal Reporting The system collects data from all districts within the state or region to compile the state’s NCLB report card as well as assembling data for other federal reports such as EDEN, CCD and ESEA. Districts using Infinite Campus are no longer required to provide data for state reporting, since the state has that information available in real time. Districts not using the Infinite Campus District Edition will need to transfer state required data via SIF or in the state’s preferred extract transform and load tools (ETL). Web-Based Reporting Standard and ad hoc reports can be generated using the embedded web-based reporting tools. The system includes a public portal that automatically provides state, district and school level NCLB information in a friendly report card format. Embedded Data Analysis States quickly come to realize the value of using Infinite Campus across all of its districts. Using the embedded data analysis tools, they can obtain much more robust and accurate student data. Transactional data can be used at the state or regional level for analysis, with secure drill-through to detailed records, that support informed decision making. Enhanced Data Warehousing Or the state or region can invest in the Infinite Campus enhanced data warehousing solution to better understand results, see relationships and find patterns to make optimal decisions from the data managed within the Infinite Campus State Edition. If the state or region desires, it can also leverage ETL tools to bring in third-party data from systems such as finance, state-mandated assessments, human resources and learning management systems. States can use this data to undertake longitudinal, aggregated, or disaggregated analysis and visualizations. The Details
