Districts can choose from several options to share educational information with the region, state or federal government.

Embedded SIS
Small districts can manage data (e.g. demographics, enrollment, scheduling, attendance, grading, and special education) using the system’s embedded web-based SIS. No other data management software is required.

Horizontal Integration
Infinite Campus horizontal integration gives districts the benefit of improved workflow and the ability to access the data in real time. Best practices, established by the district or state for entering data, assures data integrity. With Infinite Campus, information no longer needs to be re-entered or uploaded – it is available when a district or state employee needs to access it.

Vertical Interoperability
Infinite Campus provides not only vertical integration between the state and its districts but it gives districts within the state the ability to interoperate. Infinite Campus State Edition gives states and its districts the ability to assign unique student identifiers (IDs), streamline district-to-district transfers and eliminate state reporting. Districts can install a local copy of the Infinite Campus SIS that includes an embedded district-level Zone Integration Server (ZIS) which communicates directly with the state’s ZIS in real time.

Vertical Reporting
Districts using legacy SIS products and compatible SIF VR agents can communicate with the embedded statewide ZIS.

File Exchange
Educational data can be transferred to and from legacy SIS products using the embedded web-based ETL tools.
