Here is a brief description of the role-based training part of an Infinite Campus implementation project.
Core Team Training Core Team training is targeted at those individuals who will represent the district office technology and support teams, as well as any other key individuals who will have a decision making role regarding policy and procedures related to the Infinite Campus implementation. The training for the Core team is both broad and deep in its functional coverage.
Building Coach Training Coaches are identified at each building in the district. They are the key individuals at that building who will be the first line of support for end users at that location. These are generally people who are very comfortably with technology and have good people skills. Most districts or building administrators know who these people are. Since the Coach has a wide variety of responsibility the training, while building focused, is broad and deep in the application.
Building Administrator Training Building Administrators, generally Principals, will be trained on the key information that they will have at their fingertips upon the implementation of Infinite Campus.
Attendance Clerk Training Attendance Clerks are trained on the robust attendance tools and reports within the Infinite Campus application.
Building Secretary Training Secretaries are trained on a wide variety of reporting and data maintenance functions within Infinite Campus.
Counselor Training Counselors are trained on the curriculum and walk-in scheduling functions of Infinite Campus as well as generating key reports such as transcripts.
Teacher Training Rolling out the grade book features of Infinite Campus, including teacher attendance and grade book functions, is a straightforward process and even the most challenging audiences can be well trained in 90 minutes.
Scheduler Training The people responsible for scheduling at the secondary level are trained on the Infinite Campus Schedule Wizard using their own building's data.
Special Education Training Depending on the level of the integrated Special Ed usage within Infinite Campus, this training may be further divided into separate training sessions for Special Ed Administrators and Special Ed Teachers.
Health System Training District health professionals and nurses are trained on the integrated health features of Infinite Campus.
Discipline Training Depending on who is responsible for tracking and maintaining discipline information for the district, this training will generally be added to another session.
Custom Reporting Depending on the experience level of the individuals involved, the custom reporting training can take from 1-2 days. This training focuses on gaining an understanding of the data relationships within Infinite Campus and how to most effectively generate reports utilizing standard ODBC compliant tools. |
