Feb. 18, 2008– Arden Hills, Minn. – Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union (SVSU) in Bennington, Vermont has selected Infinite Campus as their district-wide student information system. SVSU will implement the Infinite Campus District Edition, a comprehensive, web-based system that eliminates island of information, provides secure access to information and gives administrators the tools for data-driven decisions. SVSU serves 3,325 students.

“We are pleased that SVSU has selected Infinite Campus,” said Charlie Kratsch, founder and CEO of Infinite Campus. “As the first district in Vermont, they join the growing number of districts in 42 states that have experienced proven results with Infinite Campus.”

SVSU needs a centralized data management system that uses a single source data entry method to track student assessments, improve and increase administrator and teacher productivity.

“What Infinite Campus offers - an integrated, web-based system - is what we want,” said Jim Boutin, SVSU Director of Technology. “The power of Campus Scheduling to produce the best results for students is the best we’ve seen. In addition, Campus Special Education was exactly what we were looking for to assist with streamlining our SPED management.”

SVSU is on track to ensure success with Campus. “The implementation of the software will have an impact on every administrator, teacher, student and parent within the district,” said Boutin. “The next 12 months should be a very busy, but exciting, time of change in the way we do business managing K12 students.  It is a win situation for all key players involved.”

The strong implementation and leadership team from Infinite Campus was an important factor in the decision. Infinite Campus has a 14-year history of implementation success with districts of all sizes across the country. Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union will begin its implementation the end of February and expects to go live by mid-August 2008.
