Perry Local Schools Select Infinite Campus as Their Student Information System
March 26, 2007– Arden Hills, Minn. - Perry Local Schools, Perry, Ohio, has selected Infinite Campus as their district-wide data management system.
“We are pleased that Perry Local Schools has selected Infinite Campus as their student data management system,” said Charlie Kratsch, founder and CEO of Infinite Campus. “As the first Infinite Campus district in Ohio, they will be leaders in leveraging their technology to more effectively use their resources and respond to their educational needs.”
Perry Local Schools has an estimated enrollment of 1,900 students and went live with Infinite Campus in early March 2007. They join the growing number of districts in 40 states who have experienced proven results with Infinite Campus.
“Our district is focused on the benefits of individualized learning and the innovative use of information to engage our stakeholders in the educational process. We needed a tool set that would meet our vision,” said Norma Morganti, Perry Local Schools Chief Technology Officer. “The integrated, web-based product of Infinite Campus was everything we needed in a single student management system. Our teachers have embraced the new product enthusiastically because of the power of the integrated instructional tools and the ability to share these resources via the Parent Portal. We have a lot of other districts in Ohio contacting us for more information and I just tell them, ‘Bottom line. The technology just works.’”
First-time users in a state find that Infinite Campus works diligently to provide state reporting capabilities and respond to ever-changing requirements. These new districts have had positive experiences with Infinite Campus, assured of data integrity and meeting deadlines.
Morganti is the point person for state reporting in the district. “I know state reporting is a big fear factor for many districts when looking at a new product. But when I saw the capabilities and potential in Infinite Campus, it wasn’t scary at all. In fact, our state reporting will be streamlined and more accurate due to our implementation of Infinite Campus.”
Perry Local Schools will be working with Optimal Solutions, an Infinite Campus Channel Partner. Mike Palmer, Optimal Solutions’ vice president of software solutions says, “We are excited to have Perry Local Schools as an Infinite Campus customer. Their willingness to take lead the way in Ohio will demonstrate the benefits and forward-thinking of the product for other districts in the state.”
