KEMP’s load balancer solution increases network efficiency for managing student data across school districts

April 22, 2008 – Medford, N.Y. – KEMP Technologies, a leading provider of affordable server load balancing and SSL acceleration solutions, today announced that Infinite Campus™ chose KEMP’s high availability load balancer solution as part of its hosted comprehensive education management system for K-12 educators. KEMP’s LoadMaster 1500 allows Infinite Campus to provide its customers with increased network efficiency – at an affordable price.

With a customer base of over 1,200 school districts in 42 states, Infinite Campus caters to school districts, regional consortia and state departments to provide web-based, integrated tools to streamline student administrative tasks and centrally store student data. Through this partnership with KEMP, the LoadMaster is included in bundled hosting packages for customers in need of multiple application servers for their data warehousing needs. To optimize network capabilities, the KEMP LoadMaster 1500 distributes user sessions across all application servers in the stack – enabling the system to effectively manage peak traffic during the busiest times of the school day.
