Infinite Campus Celebrates Grand Opening
Sept. 8, 2008 - Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus will celebrate the grand opening of its national headquarters on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its new corporate site, 4321 109th Avenue NE, Blaine, Minn. Tom Ryan, mayor of Blaine and Tom Snell, director of the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce will join Charlie Kratsch, Founder and CEO of Infinite Campus in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
“The City of Blaine welcomes Infinite Campus into our community,” said Mayor Ryan. “Our goal has always been to expand our business sector with good quality corporations that provide the type of benefits that create a strong community.”
The Centennial Marching Band will kick off the festivities, followed by a “mini” parade. Infinite Campus invites the community to attend the grand opening ceremony, followed by a family fun carnival, including games, foods and building tours.
“Moving to the National Headquarters is an exciting time for Infinite Campus,” said Kratsch. “The building is a result of the tremendous growth we’ve experienced and reflects our culture of creativity and innovation. It will also be a destination for educators to learn about the product and how it supports K12 education.”
The $20 million, two-story, 110,000 square foot facility is surrounded by an eco-friendly landscape and nestled on the edge of Lochness Lake and Park. The unique architecture and design includes a two-story rotunda, water features filled with koi fish, footbridges, trees and a 36 foot climbing wall. There are 220 Infinite Campus employees, but with current expansion plans, that number will grow to 500 by 2010.
Infinite Campus is the largest American-owned student information system (SIS) for K12 education, serving more than four million students in 42 states. For more than a decade, it has provided districts, regional consortia, state and federal government with an integrated, web-based SIS, so educators, parents and students have access to information that can ultimately improve student achievement.
