Infinite Campus Releases 2007.1 District Edition System

July 5, 2006 - San Diego, Calif., – Infinite Campus, Inc. of Arden Hills, Minn. today announced the release of the Infinite Campus District Edition 2007.1 student information system. The Infinite Campus District Edition provides administrators, teachers, parents, and students with a comprehensive, web-based educational management system.

The Infinite Campus District Edition helps administrators eliminate islands of information, improve data gathering and management, and provide secure, real-time access to data. It gives teachers an easy-to-use integrated tool for managing their classroom including attendance, grade book and lesson planning. With the district edition, parents and guardians are partners in the education of their students when districts use the integrated communication tools including the web-based portal, email and voicemail messages.

The latest release of the system will provide current customers with additional workflow efficiencies and it will streamline data entry processes across the district. New Infinite Campus District Edition 2007.1 features include:
• Individual editors to customize the order and printing of student data used in learner planning
• Built-in federally compliant special education plans and evaluation documents so districts can tailor learner plans to meet their specific needs
• A step-by-step ability to enter demographic data and manage households through the Campus Census wizard reducing the creation of duplicate records 
• The ability to quickly edit all household relationships on one screen through the Campus Census relationships editor
• Clear identification of remaining actions needed for each student to complete enrollment
• A school choice enrollment option using district-defined parameters which can be offered via the Campus Portal for online registration
